We visited several of the islands in the Azores before completing our
Atlantic Ocean crossing.
We enjoyed many events in Terceira at their week-long
festival. Mike considered the bull run, but thought
better. We caught up with our friends on s/v Severance.
Oh yeah, Mike and Ray grew beards.
The week of rain in Horta prevented us from painting our
logo on their famous seawall (see previous photo album). Encouraged
by the marina officials, we painted it on the wall in Terceira.
After 21 days in the Azores, we set off for a 7 day voyage
to Portugal which completed our Atlantic Ocean crossing. We had good
weather mostly. It was a pretty easy week. Mike even reeled in
a beautiful tuna. He doesn't like to clean fish, but he sure likes
to eat it!
