This is page 2 of the August 2008 Photo Album. We anchored in beautiful Port Soller, Mallorca and decided to stay.

We kept Port Soller as our base, and toured the island of Mallorca by bus, train, tram, rental car, and foot.






We toured a 250 year old estate in Sant Joan called Els Calderers, depicting noble Mallorcan life in that era. Here are 5 out of the many pictures we took. All of the rooms were interesting.

We attended a Chopin concert in a former monastery called Cartuja de Valldemossa, which is where Frederic Chopin lived in 1838.
In Pollensa, we climbed the 365 steps of Calvari. It was challenging! Maybe we shouldn't have had that pitcher of sangria and all those tapas before we started.
In Palma, we met up with our friends on s/v Agua, Mike Mak and his guest Marquise.
