Getting together with good friends is the highlight of our travels in this update.  Brad and Ingrid Storm (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) are so generous and warm.  We enjoyed an evening of feasting, drinking, story-telling, and I even got my laundry done!  In North Carolina, our dear friends Bill and Monica Queen joined us for a weekend aboard Aquila.  We all got to play tourist while docked in the little town of Wilmington.  Wish they could have stayed longer.  The time went by too fast. While moving through the Chesapeake Bay, we stopped to checkout the Deltaville Marina.  This is where we will return at the end of August to be hauled out for the remainder of the hurricane season (until November). In New Jersey, Linda reconnected with her friend Barbara Hosie whom she hasn't seen in 25 years.  Barbara's friend Joanne invited us to crew on one of the boats in the weekly Perth Amboy Yacht Club race.  We had a fantastic time partying and running around with them.  Joanne is a retired Captain with the Police Department, so she and Mike bonded.  We plan to stop in New Jersey again on our way back down in August.
